Seeds sown for Hammersmith and Fulham in Bloom

Proud gardeners have just a few weeks left to register for this year's Borough in Bloom contest.

Entries in each of the 10 categories, which range from best window box to finest community garden, must be submitted by Friday, June 12.

Council resident services leader Paul Bristow said: This is a great chance for green-fingered residents to get out and about in the fresh air and be creative with Hammersmith and Fulham's green spaces. The displays, which were wonderful last year, will also help make the borough look more inviting so residents can be proud of where they live."

Judging will take place in July and the winners will be invited to a ceremony in the autumn.
