Euro-bid for disabled Shepherd's Bush man

A car crash survivor from Shepherd's Bush has launched a bid to become the country's first wheelchair-using Euro-MP.

Max Burt, who was left with multiple disabilities following the smash ten years ago, will represent Libertas in the elections for London MEPs on June 4.

Mr Burt recently founded his own charity, Diversability, which promotes a more positive portrayal and quality of life for disabled people, and has launched a blog about his foray into politics at libertas-london.blogspot.com
