Free events for Shepherd's Bush book-lovers

Book-lovers can join in a series of free storytelling and literature-based events throughout April.

Upcoming sessions at Foyles Bookshop in the Westfield shopping centre in White City include an opportunity for young readers to meet the Gruffalo at 11.30am tomorrow (18) and hear about his adventures, followed at 2pm and 4pm by a puppet show with Bookaboo.

Adults can also join in two events next week featuring writers from India.

Writer and lyricist Prasoon Joshi will hold a poetry reading at the store on Thursday (23) at 1pm.
And on Friday at 1pm, Indrajit Hazra and Sudeep Chakravarti, both authors and journalists, will discuss where the Indian media meets Indian literature.
